As part of continuing environment stewardship efforts, Sedona Hotels International will participate in Earth Hour on 28 March 2009. Lights will dim at 8.30pm, lanterns, torches and candles illuminate the hotels’ premises in support of the global awareness campaign for energy conservation.
All 6 of Sedona’s leading hotels, resorts and serviced apartments in Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia and Myanmar will be participating in this annual global climate change event. In preparation for the event, Earth Hour posters have been put up at strategic locations within the hotels’ premises, and letters have been addressed to guests to help raise awareness on climate change and encourage participation.
Apart from demonstrating its commitment towards the environment, Sedona Hotels International will enhance the experience of Earth Hour in an interesting and memorable manner for its guests. At Sedona Hotel Yangon and Hotel Sedona Manado, a specially themed dinner and cocktail, “Green Earth”, will mark this eco-friendly event. Guests will of course, dine under romantic candlelight in the respective restaurants and bars.
These efforts are part of Sedona Hotels International’s ongoing green initiatives. Hotel Sedona Manado does it part to protect marine diversity as an active partner of the World Ocean Conference 2009 to be held in Manado.
